Lets Mix It Up A Bit

It was day one at the new digs. I was stoked. The new digs I have officially labeled Earth because it's an environmentally awesome place. And I noticed as I walked the space that there were no B's to be seen. A sigh of relief at this realization - I am not going to spoil this great atmosphere with another B. I think I will finally begin real work on Friday. Today and tomorrow are training. I might need an energy doubleshot tomorrow. Sometimes the whole day of training warps my mind.

Last night I had a terrible time falling asleep. My phone was buzzing from my muppets and a punk (I'd link these but I think it would uncover too much). It was entertaining until I got so tired that my eyes were closing AS I texted. I think when you get to that stage you must admit that it is time to put down the phone. So I did. And I ended up getting up way too early this morning.

I want to skip downtown and walk between bars. I remember a time in '05 that I will never forget. Great people, great bars, great feelings. Then again it was all wickedly twisted and bizarre. But to this day the rollercoaster has continued and the wickedly twisted is back. Geez. You'd think I'd learn to get off, right? Especially since I hate rollercoasters. I don't like the nauseous feeling. But back to the downtown.... I'd like to go but I fear there really is no one to go with :( The ones who were best at skipping the downtown are now far away on the east side. And though I do know of another who would skip downtown, I'm sad to say I don't think it will happen. I did something, somewhere along the line, that makes this whole thing.... not understandable.

But tomorrow is a new day. It's day 2 at Earth. Did I mention the casual attire? Yeah. Jeans when you want. Shorts on Friday's. Yeah, that's right, shorts. For a chic who has worked consistently in a setting of corporate attire for 6 years, THIS is going to take some time getting used to. And this winter I'm definitely taking up the opportunity to skip out on quiet afternoons and hit the slopes (most likely my ass hitting the snow but, same thing). Did I mention my weakness for male colorado snow boarders? mm. Most often its the guy in the hoodie, messy curly hair, that makes it. :) If only....
