Oh the things that have changed....

Life in a new state is always fascinating at first. Upon arrival you feel you love everything around you and have the highest expectations for your surroundings. Then a month later you realize you are still sitting around doing nothing, earning nothing, and that nice reality kicks you in the ass. Ah, life, how grand.

As it turns out, its hard to keep expectations high, even in a place you thought you would love. You can say you love from afar, but once there, what do you do when you turn around and miss what you left? Miss all that you complained and hated? Miss all that made you seem miserable and unhappy? My guess, turn around and look at the new opportunities in front. That, to me, is the way to make all those "I miss..." look silly, because you can now see what new things are in store for the future. What a great idea, huh? *sarcasm*

So, yes, all-in-all, life in the new state has been good. Not great, but good. I hope, one day, that it will be great. Until that day comes, I will do my best to try and enjoy my "good".

I must admit, there is one thing about this state that has caught my attention (a bit off-guard too!): major hotties. I'm not talking about the Frat boys from undergrad or those flashy Cali-boys, I'm talking real, outdoors-ey, Abercrombie can fall on their face because they do not have ME posing for them, hotties. I saw one guy yesterday that totally blew me away. And, this is not very good for someone in my position. It's a tease! I love it, but hate it at the same time. I'd kill to hit the bars with these kids, but I believe I might feel incredibly naughty/bad at the same time. What's a girl to do?? ;)

I have made a goal for my blog: post at least twice every month and hopefully have more people read it!

Let's see if i can do it... :)
