"I'm quiet you know, You make a first impression, I've found I'm scared to know I'm always on your mind...."
Who ever said change was bad was living in a world of closed doors and closed eyes. My move to CO has refreshed my soul, refreshed my senses and revived my spirit. Not to mention I can turn on KBCO and rock out to some of the best music that will never surface on the radios in Phoenix.
It is here in this great state that I know I will find my place. I can already drive my car to the town of Boulder and feel like I fit in, I'm a granola among other nuts, gladly exclaiming to the world that I'm proud to be a yuppie, and my car shows it too.
Some might find it crazy but I think it almost surreal - to drive down a country highway with fields of sunflowers painting the fields only minutes from a major freeway that takes me straight into a downtown that actually has a real city feel to it. There are trains/trolleys that take people into and around the city; skyscrapers that create a real skyline; one-way streets lined with old buildings and cute lofts and apartments.
And to put the cherry on top - there is the infamous Red Rocks Amphitheatre. I am still trying to decide if I want to grab tix off e-bay for the DMB concert in September. Dave at Red Rocks, wow.
As I end my short note on this here stickey blog, I 'd like to say that you should purchase the following cd's if you haven't already:
1) Howie Day - Stop All The World Now
2) Aslyn- Lemon Love
Trust me, you'll enjoy them :)
